Year 1 Classroom Update

Students in Year 1, have had a busy start to Term 4.

In English, Year 1 students are reading Jacqueline Harvey books in preparation for Ms Harvey’s visit later this term. Each class is reading a different book from the Alice Miranda series and will compare and contrast them later this term.

Helena Business Connect

Avondale hosts AustCham Business Connects evening

Avondale was delighted to host the AustCham Business Connects function last week at the Intercontinental Hotel. Ms Helena Sobulis, Principal, welcomed over 120 members of the Australian business community and presented raffle prizes to some lucky winners. Speaking at the event Ms Sobulis said, “I am proud to lead Avondale Grammar School in helping to prepare children for the 21st century through the world class Australian curriculum.”
