Physical Education Specialist (From Term 2, 2012)

Avondale Grammar is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic PE Specialist who has experience in working with Primary Aged Children.

The successful applicant will have appropriate specialist qualifications.  He / she

• will have a commitment to an holistic education for all students
• a passion for sports, the development of physical skills, teamwork and sportsmanship
• will provide a comprehensive program for students, based on the New South Wales Board of Studies PDHPE Syllabus
• will demonstrate initiative and leadership in the support of other members of staff  in coaching sports teams for interschool competitions.

Full-time Receptionist

Avondale Grammar School is seeking to appoint a full-time Receptionist to join our busy team.

Job Description

The Receptionist at Avondale Grammar School is directly responsible to the Principal for the effective organisation and management of the reception area / front desk, telephone enquiries and for sales of uniform and school stationery items on a daily basis.

Requirements

• Pleasant disposition, positive attitude with good interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently under pressure as well as part of a dynamic team
• Experience within a schooling environment will be an advantage
• PC literate; MS Word, excel, database proficient

5 days a week; 8 am – 5pm
