Avondale Grammar School is a private international school for expatriate children living in Singapore.

We believe that each child can reach their personal and academic potential if they are nurtured in a supportive environment. We believe a well-rounded education encourages children to develop independence, resilience, self-confidence and “a lifelong love of learning”.

Culture

The School applies this philosophy through a culture which promotes and rewards both effort and enthusiasm for learning. Our programs encourage curiosity and the joy of discovery. We recognise each child’s progress along their own learning path relative to their individual goals.

Smaller class sizes enable Avondale to provide a higher level of individual attention in order to support and extend each child according to their talents and capabilities.

It is through Avondale’s Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) that teachers, in consultation with you the parents, are able to set learning goals appropriate to your child’s present level of achievement, to support any areas of need, to extend their talents and to excite them about learning.
