Meet the Team

Avondale Grammar School is led by the Principal and an executive team including the Head of Primary Years who also serves as the Head of Teaching and Learning, the Head of Early Learning and the Director of the Preschool.

Reporting to the School Council and Board of Directors, the Principal, supported by her executive team manages the academic focus and learning strategy of the school.
Avondale currently employs more than 50 teachers and administrative staff.

Most teachers are from Australia, New Zealand, the UK, North America or Singapore. All staff are fully-qualified, and most come to Avondale with extensive experience in teaching and school leadership in schools in their home country as well as other international schools.

In addition to classroom teaching most teachers are involved in extracurricular service and learning based programs. This includes supporting students in various academic, sporting teams and drama, musical and artistic projects.
