Individual Learning Plans (ILP’s) enable the School to tailor your child’s educational experience to their specific requirements and fully utilize their potential. After an initial assessment, teachers set learning guidelines appropriate to the child’s present level of achievement for the purpose of:

• appropriately supporting areas of need
• nurturing their talents
• extending and exciting your child about learning

Avondale Grammar School, due to the high teacher to student ratio, is in a unique position to identify and develop children who are talented and or/gifted or require assistance with learning difficulties. Differentiation is the foundation of a meaningful education catering to different students’ needs and abilities.
