Enrolment Policies

Immigration Documents

All students must have the appropriate Singapore immigration documents finalised prior to starting school.

English Fluency

At Avondale our primary language is English. Parents who are unsure whether their child is fully able to comprehend or communicate in English, should discuss their situation with the Head of School, prior to making an application for enrolment.

Special Needs

All special needs students will be assessed on an individual basis and parents should discuss their situation with the Head of School, prior to making an application for enrolment.

Age Group Guidelines

Avondale Grammar School has guidelines on age group boundaries to ensure the most appropriate placement for each child. These boundaries ensure that class and year groupings are well balanced and appropriate for educational, social and pastoral care programs.

Behavioural Standards

Avondale Grammar School encourages every child to accept responsibility for their own behaviour and show courtesy and respect to their teachers, school staff and fellow students. Further information regarding Avondale behaviour policies can be found in the Parent Handbook.
