Bus Information

Avondale students choosing to travel to and from school by bus will use ZH Bus Transport & Services.

All ZH buses are fitted with a seat belt for each child. Each bus has an assistant to the driver or 'Aunty' who supervises the children and ensures they wear their seat belts.

Small groups of Avondale children, living in close proximity, are picked up from their designated regions and dropped off to school by approximately 8am. The children are dropped off at the Soccer Court area and remain there until 8.15am, when they are allowed to go and play.

Children are picked up at school at 3pm and dropped home through the same bus company of an afternoon.

There is a teacher on bus duty each morning and afternoon.
