The School applies this philosophy through a culture which promotes and rewards both effort and enthusiasm for learning. Our culture encourages curiosity and the joy of discovery. It recognises each child’s progress along their own learning path relative to their individual goals.

Smaller class sizes enable the School to provide a higher level of individual attention in order to support, nurture and extend each child according to their talents and capabilities.

It is through Avondale’s Individual Learning Plans (ILP’s) teachers are able to set learning guidelines appropriate to your child’s present level of achievement, to support any areas of need, to nurture their talents and to extend and excite them about learning.

Avondale Grammar School adheres to a non denominational Christian philosophy reflected in our respect for individual beliefs and shared through prayer in assemblies.
