Welcome to Avondale Grammar School!

Avondale is a co-educational, international grammar school for expatriate children in Singapore and welcomes children of all nationalities. Our School offers a proven curriculum and sound educational framework set in an environment which fosters a love and excitement about learning "a lifelong love of learning".

At Avondale Grammar School we have limits on class sizes and teacher/pupil ratios, enabling children to thrive in a nurturing environment with higher levels of individual and small group instruction. Small class sizes, combined with our dedication to providing the highest levels of pastoral care, create an environment where students are free to embrace and enjoy learning. At Avondale all the teachers really know and understand the individual needs of every student.

My own 17 years in teaching and in particular my years at Sydney Grammar School, Newington College, and Masada College in Australia, have convinced me that the Australian private school system provides a world class educational opportunity for children of many nationalities. At Avondale Grammar School we encourage each student to develop their potential in a caring environment, which encourages personal and academic excellence, and helps each child develop a philosophy of life which will enable them to be an independent, constructive and compassionate member of an international community.

At Avondale, we provide a warm and welcoming environment that helps families to settle quickly and smoothly into Avondale and into life in Singapore.
