Parents Association

The Avondale Parents Association (PA) is extremely active in the school and plays an important role in helping to create and maintain positive school spirit at Avondale.

Our PA aims to:

Build School spirit by organising whole School events for both parents and children;
Conduct activities to raise funds to improve School facilities and to enhance the education of students
Encourage and promote communication between the School and parents

The PA committee for 2011 welcomes all new families and encourages all parents to join us for our PA meetings, as we value all opinions and feedback.

Class representatives play a crucial role in achieving PA objectives. In each class, one or two parents volunteer to be the class representatives. These volunteers are the primary social contact in each class and take a lead role in the communication of PA matters with their group of parents.

As we are always welcoming new families to our community, the PA and class representatives also play a part in ensuring new families receive a very warm welcome and help them quickly to feel a part of the school community. Our PA ‘welcome’ coffee mornings are a great way to meet parents in an informal environment. Please join us on the following Fridays:
